What Is Saiph 2 Edition?

Saiph 2 Edition presents a completely new Pokémon fan game continuing the adventure from Pokémon Saiph in the unexplored Regris Region. In the course of three intervening years after the events of Pokémon Saiph, protagonist Micah, now a recognized Champion, finds himself trapped in Regris because of a mysterious plane crash. Now with new friends and new challenges that include uncovering new secrets, this game brings fresh mechanics, a full Pokédex (including Gen 8), and an exciting story littered with twists into the Saiph universe.

How to Play

Explore Regris: Traverse a brand-new region full of special towns, routes, and hidden locations.
Battle & Train: Use the Fire Red Upgrade engine, which is updated to include modern moves, abilities, and Pokémon.
Do Side Quests: Take on optional quests for some extra rewards (limited in the Tech Demo).
Choose Your Mode: Try Randomizer, Level Scaling, or Hero Mode for extra challenge.
Day/Night System: Some events and encounters change depending on the time of day (requires an RTC-supporting emulator).

Tips & Tricks

DexNav (Coming Later): Use it to locate rare Pokémon once fully implemented—stay tuned!
Hero Mode: For the brave-hearted! Makes enemies stronger, so strategize carefully about your team composition.
Save Often: As a fan-made game, it will have its share of bugs—as the saying goes, better safe than sorry.
Try out different modes: Either try Level Scaling for more balanced battles, or Randomizer mode for a chaotic and erratic run.

History

Saiph 2 Edition functions as the direct sequel to Pokémon Saiph, developed by Vytron. While it follows Micah's journey, it also serves as a loose connection to Pokémon Sors. At present, the game is a Tech Demo that offers 1-2 hours of gameplay to showcase engine upgrades, including Gen 8 Pokémon, better AI, and custom soundtrack. The full release will feature far more content, including the full Regris adventure.

Being a fan-made game, it is free to play and has nothing to do with Nintendo or Game Freak. What you see in the Tech Demo is only a taste—more updates will come.
