What Is Pokémon XY Naturia?

Pokémon XY Naturia is a new incarnation of the classical Pokémon adventure-an interaction between old nostalgia and exciting new features. Situated in a reinvented region, this fan-made ROM hack utterly varies with a bizarrely new Pokémon set, tweaked mechanics, and very twisting gameplay. Hence, the long-time lover and the newly acquainted have an enriched, deeply engrossing journey on their way to becoming the ultimate Pokémon Trainer.

How to Play

Select Your Protagonist: Proceed to select your male or female protagonist from Pokémon XY as you start your journey.
Explore the Region: Go over revamped cities, caves, and routes with upgraded graphics inspired by 3rd generation titles.
Battle and Train: Include intense turn-based battle systems complete with physical/special move classification-like Gen 4-and new learnsets.
Catch ‘Em All: Catch 138 custom-designed Pokémon species, with the inclusion of Fairy Types and modern evolution methods.
Gym Challenge: Tough Gym Leaders battle SET-style (no switching after KO, please) and without badge stat boosts for profits.

Tips and Hints

Simple Evolutions: Use the recently introduced Trade Stone to evolve Pokémon that usually require trading. Other Evolution Stones are scattered across the region (for instance, a Dusk Stone in Union Cave).
Time to Shiny Hunt: The shiny rate increase to 1/256, with shiny properties for Gyarados changed, is perfect for collectors!
Faster Breeding: Faster hatching of eggs (twice the usual time) means that breeding for perfect stats has less drudgery.
Hold Items: Wild Pokémon carry many useful items-who knows, you might find a Charcoal that increases attacks by 33!
Move Tutors: Move tutors are scattered everywhere, teaching your team some heavy hitters like Draco Meteor (Blackthorn City) or Sludge Bomb (Ilex Forest).

History

XY Naturia, developed by a dedicated Mexican hacker, combines elements from different Pokémon generations with original ideas while designing all the way through. This translated to:

Proposed Mechanics: Fairy type additions, Gen 6 base stats, bloody battle effect revisions (i.e., Extreme Speed now truly out-prioritizes Quick Attack).
New Content: 60 new moves, 24 new items (including the G.S. Ball), and redesigned maps inspired by beta versions of classic locations.
Difficulty Tini-tweaks: Gym battles run in series so you can't Road out until you win or Blackout; Trainers have more potent Pokémon for compensation for EV advantages removed.

Other Contrasting Belcher Features:

Design Refresh: Updated trainer and Gym Leader sprites as well as HGSS-style battle interface.
QOL Improvements: Egg hatching steps have been halved, TMs can be used over and over again, and healing items have been rebalanced (can't use a Potion in a battle anymore!).
Hidden Secrets: Extra events and trainers have been slipped into previously empty areas (18+ new battles).
