Radical Red Version is a much-awaited hack for the classic Pokémon Red and Blue games, bringing the player a challenging, fresh experience and offering myriad changes from the originals. At its core, this hack is a more-difficulty-oriented hack, heavily inspired by other popular enhancement hacks like Drayano60’s. Almost all Pokémon up to Gen 8 are available in this hack, with relevant buffs and updated mechanics. So, whether you are a seasoned trainer or new to this, Radical Red Version will be engaging and rewarding with brand-new challenges and great new features.

How to Play

Playing Radical Red Version should not be a problem if you know the original Pokémon games, basically walking through Kanto, taking down Gym Leaders, catching Pokémon, and moving on with the story. All this is interspersed with new elements put in the hack to spice up the experience:

• Physical/Special split and Fairy typing: More strategic battles where move sets can now include different generation interacts.
• Gen 8 Pokémon and moves: Catch and use Pokémon and moves up to Generation 8, including DLC from Isle of Armor!

This hack started as a passion project to remedy the somewhat lackluster FireRed experience by increasing difficulty while simultaneously adding new features and content. Since then, it has evolved into a full-fledged hack, with a long and rich developmental history and community involvement.
