What Is Pokémon Sweet Edition?

Pokémon Sweet Edition is a cute fan-made fakemon game that more or less give a sugary touch to the title Pokémon experience! Instead of traditional creatures, you encounter all alone the 151 candy-type PokeSweets, which are derivations of Pokémon from more than one generation. The world is filled with all sorts of candy-land-air-landscape-fun combinations, with dessert-themed landscapes, good puns, and hidden surprises aplenty. Battles utilize a different 12-flavor type chart (apple indeed counts as a flavor of ice cream), and most of the trainer battles are Double Battles, just for fun.

How to Play

Capture or Craft: Collect PokeSweets by battling or by crafting them using berries.
Explore Dessertified Kanto: Every map has hidden items, secrets, and bad puns (consider yourself warned).
Battle Strategically: Have a good command of the new flavor-based type chart—no such thing as physical or special!
Face Rivals & Factions: Protect your sweetrolls from two (well, okay, three) rival factions.
Gym Leader Rematches: Take rematches with gym leaders for even more fun.

Tips & Tricks

Double Battles Are the Norm: Because most battles are 2v2, make sure your team contains styles that complement each other.
Berries = PokeSweets: Do not procrastinate with crafting, as it will fill up your Cookbook quickly.

History

The Pokémon Sweet Edition was developed by Ephraim225 and began as a fresh twist on the traditional formula that mashes up nostalgia with absurdly delicious themes. Version 1.0 came out with a complete roster of 151 PokeSweets, a revamped battle system, and a world that is "50% more enjoyable than Fire Red" (their words, not ours).
