You are gaining exposure and fortune, or probably are simply after a thrilling experience for your team-i.e., every step deeper reveals new surprises.

How to Play

What you wanted to be: Putting together a team and going for the deep layer of the labyrinth, defeating each floor's "captain" until you finally find an exit. Here's how it all goes down:

Exploration: Traverse maze-like floors, evade FOEs, and collect supplies at collection points.
Battles: Trainers and wild Pokémon engage in double battle format with healing items banned during the battle, except when held by the Pokémon.
Progression: Clear obstacles with the help of an Explorer Kit (replacement for HMs); use earnings to upgrade shops in Talrega.

Tips & Tricks

Balance Your Team: Double battles are common, so you should be building synergy. Pair Pokémon with complementary moves (for example, Plusle and Minun electric combos).
Avoid FOEs: These highly powered ones roam the labyrinth; it is best to steer clear of them until your power matches theirs.
Watch Your Leveling Up: A soft cap keeps you from over-leveling, so get more strategic rather than grinding levels.
Upgrade Early: The sooner you set your sights on guild upgrades, the earlier you can buy better items and gear.
