What is Pokémon Throwback: Kanto Refined?

A nostalgic fan-made reimagining of the classical Pokémon Games in the Kanto region, this version considers the original Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow as its base along with refined mechanics, updated visuals, and a few new twists on the familiar gameplay for the Game Boy Advance. For all the old-timers should there be any, the title offers a polished retro-arcade adventure with strategy and monster collection.

How to play

Movement: Use the arrow keys (←→↑↓) to move the character.
Interact/Action: Use Z (B) to interact or to perform an action over an object.
Cancel/Menu: Press X (A) to bring up the menu or to cancel.
Start/Select: Use Enter (Start) and Shift (Select) for menu navigation.
L/R Buttons: Set A (L) and D (R) as needed for more control options.

Tips & Tricks

Grind Smart: Keep your team leveled well enough to face tough Gym battles.
Type Advantage: Always check your opponent's Pokémon's types before the battle (water beats fire, electric beats water, etc.)!
Save: Use the in-game saving feature anytime to avoid losing progress.
Talk To People: Lots of NPCs give great hints or items!
