What is Pokémon Sky Twilight?

Pokémon Sky Twilight is an adventurous Pokémon fan creation set in the bright Crocus Region, where trainers out there begin their journey from Begonia Village as a rookie trainer. Designed with Pokémon from Generations 4-7, newer mechanics include Mega Evolutions, reusable TMs, and custom Mega Evolutions, making it an interesting combination of new and old. Nitro set against destruction by Team Voltage, Noivern's rescue, and the ultimate triumph of Gyms and Superiors comprise your goals for this world.

How to Play

Start Your Journey: Create your trainer and set off from Begonia Village.
Catch & Train: Encounter Pokémon from Gens 4-7, updated in abilities and moves for balance.
Battle & Progress: Take on Gyms, stop Team Voltage's plans, and discover the region's secrets.
Mega Evolve: Wield the power of Mega Evolutions, including custom Mega Evolutions, to win battles.
Explore: Tour new locations with sprites and tiles revitalized from classic Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

Names and Tricks

Save Your Rare Candies: They will save you from easy Gym battles and those of the Elite Four.
Try Out All Mega Evolutions: Some custom forms may unexpectedly prove useful.
Poison Survival: Don't panic if your Pokémon goes down to one HP through poison-it will cure itself rather than faint.
Reusable TMs: Equip your teams with versatile moves without worrying about wasting those TMs.
Coach Fairy Types: Fairies are a great counter against Dragons and Dark types.

History

Sky Twilight was released in Beta 3.0 on 17 June, 2018. It is a project that perfectly blends contemporary Pokémon mechanics (like Fairy type and updated critical hits) with an old-school feel. Although the main story ends after the Pokémon League, its scope and polish securely place this as one of the best fan projects ever made.
