What is Ultra Red?

Ultra Red is a newer take on a classic Pokémon adventure. It combines generations 1-7 into a gigantic journey. The fan-made game features new sprites, Mega Evolutions, new graphics, and even randomized trainers and Pokémon to keep each play-through fresh. While catching and battling are important, Ultra Red presents an opportunity for greater exploration—talk to NPCs, solve mysteries, and unlock new paths by helping others. How to Play

Explore: Secrets exist everywhere. Towns, caves, and routes—check all and talk to everyone.
Battles: Battle with wild Pokémon and trainers, some encounters are randomized!
Progress: Solve puzzles and finish side quests to unlock new areas.
Team-Building: Use Pokémon from 7 generations plus Mega Evolution to make your own teams.
