What is Pokémon Stadium 2?

Pokémon Stadium 2 is a Nintendo 64 classic that brings about the excitement of Pokémon battles in live 3 dimensions. Being the sequel to the original Pokémon Stadium, the new game offers an extension to the formula: better graphics, more Pokémon, and new battle modes. If you are into strategy and competitive Pokémon battles, then you are in for a treat: genuine arcade-style action combined with heavy tactical gameplay.

How to Play

- Directions: ← → ↑ ↓ (Arrow Keys)

A turn-based format of fighting is employed in the game, where attacks are chosen, Pokémon are switched out, and attempts are made to outsmart the opponent. Another fun mode is mini-games or take on the Gym Leader Castle for some real hardcore happenings.

History

Pokémon Stadium 2 came out in 2001 for Nintendo 64 and fixed all the major flaws of the original. The key feature was the ability to use Pokémon from Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. This was further enhanced by the introduction of the Gym Leader Castle and extra mini-games, therefore establishing the game as an all-time favorite among the Pokémon spin-off titles.
