What is Gold Unova?

Gold Unova, an imaginative ROM hack of the classic Pokémon Gold reimagined by ericgall23, gives the player a new adventure in the Unova region. Players get to choose from three legendary starters: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, and then take on 16 new Gym Leaders in this full-fledged remake of a much-loved Game Boy Color title.

The Game

Choose a Starter: Begin your adventure by choosing Raikou (Electric), Entei (Fire), or Suicune (Water).
Explore Unova: Enjoy familiar places from Black & White uncloaked by the mechanics and charm of Gold.
Battle Gym Leaders: Fight against 16 Gym Leaders who offer a new type of challenge.
Build Your Team: Continue through the storyline while training your Pokémon, uncovering surprises, and relishing a reconnaissance of the originalPokémon in a new light.
