What Is Giratina Strikes Back?

Giratina Strikes Back offers a thrilling fan-made Pokémon adventure in the Lunoh Region. You are a 13-year-old whose father, the CEO of EDGE Co., gives you the task of fulfilling his unfulfilled dream: becoming a Pokémon Master. This starts with the rare Eevee as your starter Pokémon, and things soon get heated, for you have to battle against the evil Team Genesis, who plan to release Giratina from the Distortion World for world domination.

The game features: -A custom region with 11 gyms and plenty of new places to investigate.
-65 gorgeous Fakemon designs alongside the classics.
-Enhanced mechanics like trade-evolve Pokémon with Moon Stones, and Rock Smash is finally actually useful (60 damage!).
-A very rich plot full of twists, rival battles, and moral questions.

How to Play

Begin your quest. After receiving your Eevee, wander the Lunoh Region, fighting trainers, and catching Pokémon.
Evolve well. Use a Sun Stone or Moon Stone to evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon—other evolution stones may be bought in Drallia Town.
Gym Challenges. Best all 11 gym leaders to prove you're worth it.
Stop Team Genesis. Find out what lies behind their schemes and prevent Giratina's catastrophic release.
Enjoy your freedom! Running indoors, smashing rocks, and searching for secrets are all at your free will.

Tips and Tricks

Turn Early Power-On: Farm a Moon Stone in Drallia Town to evolve Eevee ASAP—bulk from Umbreon or offense from Espeon will see your team through.
Rock Smash Meta: Don't turn your back to this HM, battling with it can bring valuable damage output.
Fakemon Surprises: Try out some of these 65 new Pokémon, some of them might be big surprise MVPs.
Story Choice: Watch for NPC cuts; the story has several twists that will throw you down alternate paths.
