What Is Pokémon Maize?

It takes the basics of some Pokémon and offers them in a brand-new region, with a brand new plot, and new challenges. In Boldor, your journey will embark on becoming a Pokémon master and stopping Team Quarry, an organization of excavators-who are all about reckless methods of excavation to reshape the planet. It truly offers the Pokémon Maize experience with fantasy locales, freaky characters, including that one childhood friend you just can't get rid of, and a Nuzlocke Mode for all the serious gamers.

How To Play

Start Your Journey: Choose your Pokémon starter and travel through Boldor, an entirely new region with different Pokémon out to be caught and trainers to battle.
Battle & Train: Engage in turn-based battles, level your team up, earn badges, and challenge gym leaders.
Stop Team Quarry: Stop their destructive mining with an investigation.
Nuzlocke Mode is an option: It's a much harder, permadeath mode for fainted Pokémon, and you can only catch one in each area.
Explore: Discover secrets, hidden locations, and side quests as you advance through Beta 3.2 (currently up to 6 gyms).

Tips & Tricks

Balance Your Team: Since there are currently only six gyms in the beta, focus on forming a balanced team early on.
Save Often: Especially in Nuzlocke Mode: it would be terrible to lose a key team member forever!
Talk To The NPCs: Sometimes they might reward you with items or give a hint about Team Quarry's operations.
Grind Smart: The level of wild Pokémon scales, so make sure to train in areas that are appropriate to your team level.
Use Your Broom: It’s there for a reason; clear some obstacles with it!
